Meet The Doctors

Dr. Jerry Bradley hails from Trenton, NC (Jones County), just south of Kinston. He graduated from Jones County High School in 1972 and attended Elizabeth City State University where he graduated in May 1976 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He attended Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in May 1983. In July 1984, he was licensed to practice Dentistry in North Carolina. Dr. Bradley did his dental residency at Harlem Hospital in New York City.

After completing his residency, Dr. Bradley worked for a period of time in Oxford, NC and subsequently came to Gates County in 1986 to work at the Gates County Dental Clinic for many years. During the time he worked there, he was also affiliated with the Hertford County Dental Center in Ahoskie.

In March 2005, he opened Jerry Bradley, DDS and Associates in Edenton. Dr. Bradley feels blessed to now have three dentists, a dental hygienist and five dental assistants on staff now.

Dr. Bradley is an AVID Washington Redskins fan and he loves sports!

Dr. Parrish is not new to the Albemarle area, having grown up in Gates County, NC. She graduated Cum Laude from Tennessee State University in 2011 and attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, earning her DDS with honors in 2016. After completing dental school, Dr. Parrish was selected to complete a multi-disciplinary hospital residency at the Jesse Brown Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Chicago. This residency provided her with advanced training in all specialties of dentistry including oral surgery and treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Parrish is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentist and National Dental Association.

Dr. Parrish returned to Edenton in the summer of 2017 to practice with her father, Dr. Jerry L. Bradley. Dr. Parrish is excited to continue the mission started by her father and continue to provide high quality comprehensive dental care to underserved populations. Knowing how stressful and the high anxiety that comes with dental visits, Dr. Parrish prides herself on providing a warm and comfortable environment at every visit.

Dr. Jacqueline Smith is a 1999 graduate of the UNC-Chapel Hill Dental School. Since graduating, she has been giving back to this state by serving the Medicaid population in the Gates County and Hertford County area.

In 2005, Dr. Smith joined the private practice with Dr. Jerry Bradley and Associates in Edenton, NC where she continues to serve many residents here in the Albemarle area. Currently, she works as a part-time associate of Dr. Bradley and Dr. Parrish, while maintaining a private practice in Virginia Beach, VA since 2008.
